One Life, Many Tenleytown Connections (provided by Bart Robey)
William Leon Robey was born in Washington, D.C. on November 8, 1899 – the only child of James Harvey Robey (1876 – 1944) and Bertha May Robey (nee QUINLAN, 1879 – 1949). William’s grandparents were James William Robey (1846 – 1933) and Margaret Ann Robey (nee KIDWELL, 1851 – 1917).
Burrows Connections (provided by Amy Patterson O'Keefe)
The Methodist Cemetery is the final resting place for several families with the surname Burrows. My great-grandfather, Robert Henry Burrows (1854-1933) was a son of Proverb Burrows (1825-1901) and Mary Emmeline Queen (1836-1918).
Addison Ellsworth Chappell (provided by Dan Nielsen, Chicago IL)
My great-great-grandfather, Addison Ellsworth Chappell (AEC), was born on May 25, 1862 in Washington D.C., and died on March 13, 1920 at his residence: 4117 Chesapeake St. NW, about two blocks north of Eldbrooke Church. From various sources, Addison Ellsworth Chappell’s occupations are listed as farmer, gardener, butcher, and house painter.

Lewis and his family lived near Tenleytown and he was the first of his line to be born in Washington, DC. His draft registration form says he was a Huckster.
